Sikkim is really beautiful and the Sikkimese are so positive towards art, culture and music. Before I came here I had heard lot pleasing about Sikkim and I found it to be real. I had also thought about Gangtok to be a big city but its a small town based on the hill top and so beautiful, serene and peaceful.

ETC: A young musician and so many achievements, we are sure you’ve had a lot many struggles and circumstances? Please tell us about it.

SS: See, art and talent are something that comes with struggles and challenges but every artist, artistes and talented ones should also come up with dedication, patience and commitment to win over it. So, if I can face everything and be here then anyone can be. I am not superhuman.

ETC: How has been the journey of this young sensation so far?

SS: My journey is all under the public eye. People know how I grew up from a simple cover songs singer who uploaded videos on Youtube and now just a lil popular singer, that’s it (laughs)

ETC: So young and so much done, how would you like to motivate our Sikkimese youths who are more passionate about music and art of any form?

SS: See, you need to be dedicated to what you are passionate about. If you are true to yourself, compassionate about it and nothing can stop you from turning your dream (s) into reality, all hindrances shall pass by. Please love what you like to do, be true to yourself and I believe nothing can stop you.
